SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--G-STAR Organizing Committee (Chairman, Martin Kwanho Choi, Organizing Committee hereinafter) held a press conference in the morning of September 23 in Seoul to share the current status of how the plan for 'G-STAR 2016' is proceeding.
G-STAR's Organizing Committee Chairman Martin Kwanho Choi said, "applications for participating in the public area have been closed already with a tremendous amount of interest from many companies, and the event will be held on the largest scale ever in its history."
The main sponsor of ‘G-STAR 2016’ is Netmarble Games. Netmarble Games is considered to be the leader of Korea's mobile games market and a synergy with Korea's largest game exhibition 'G-STAR' is expected as it will participate in the event as the main sponsor.
The newly established premier sponsor will be Longtu Korea, China's major developer and publisher which has been rising fast in Korea recently. Longtu Korea is the first ever foreign game company that has signed an official sponsorship with 'G-STAR'.
Twitch will participate as the global media partner for the second year in a row and will play the role of a communications window that links game companies and users in 'G-STAR 2016'.
G-STAR will be held in Busan BEXCO in Korea for four days beginning November 17. It is a global game exhibition event that has generated more than 200 million dollars of game business for four days every year shattering own record each year.
