    In this session you’ll learn how to calculate the potential impact of the loss or destruction of sensitive data using variables such as hard dollar costs, lost business, and regulatory fines. We’ll then demonstrate the considerations for creating data classes and offer common data types for each one, followed by some in-depth examples.
  • Data Discovery & Classification, Workshop Part 2: Discovery, Applying Controls, and Monitoring
    This session features a live demonstration of conducting discovery and applying labels using Sensitive Data Manager™. We’ll discuss the many options for applying controls that are available once sensitive data is discovered, including deletion, relocation, and encryption. Finally, we’ll address using SDM to monitor your network for security and privacy incidents and provide useful intelligence via its reporting features.
  • Closing Keynote: Data security process improvements
    Based on the examination of successful data security programs and with input from leading information security professionals and privacy experts we examine a framework for security that covers the business functions and security practices that are purely data centric in their approach.
