ReferralExchange Hosts Sacramento Build Day September 16 #ForSocialGood

Multi-site build day brings company together for a day of service

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--Real estate referral leader, ReferralExchange will be hosting a Sacramento Build Day on September 16 in collaboration with Giveback Homes, the premier real estate platform and community for social good. The event will bring together employees in ReferralExchange’s Sacramento office for a day of services across multiple build sites.

Sacramento Habitat for Humanity is the build partner for the event and has built over 100 homes in the area. The long-standing organization focuses on building sustainable and energy-efficient homes in the Sacramento area with all new construction projects built to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Gold and Platinum Certification levels. ReferralExchange staff will work alongside selected Sacramento agents as well as the future homeowners who exchange their sweat equity as part of their commitment to their future homes.

“When we were first thinking about our partnership with Giveback Homes, a build day was one thing we wanted to participate in,” says Scott Olsen, ReferralExchange CEO. “Our Sacramento team is deeply invested in the community and everyone is very excited to get out and commit a hard day’s work building for a great cause.”

“As we’ve gotten to work with and know members of the ReferralExchange team we’ve been so impressed with their positive spirit,” added Caroline Pinal, Giveback Homes co-founder. “The company was so eager to participate that we expanded the amount of sites. We are excited for our first build day in Sacramento!”

Recently Giveback Homes and ReferralExchange entered into a partnership in which ReferralExchange will donate $100 for every closed agent-to-agent referral, up to $20,000 with the goal of not only hosting the build day in Sacramento but also building three houses internationally.

Currently, there are 20 Giveback Homes Build Projects in the U.S. and Nicaragua in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, with many more planned for 2016 and beyond. The Giveback Homes membership model includes packages for both individual agents, brokerages, as well as real estate technology and service providers.
