DevSpark Becomes Spark Digital, Invigorates Brand and Promise to Clients

New name reflects evolution of business and expansion of services

NEW YORK--()--DevSpark announced today that it will change its name to Spark Digital. The change was provoked by the rapid evolution of the company since its founding in 2012. Along with the name change, the company has also invested in a comprehensive rebranding effort focused on a commitment to client service and bringing together the most experienced talent in the industry.

While the DevSpark name served the company well for the first few years, the name became a less accurate description of the company as product strategy consulting and user experience design services were added to compliment its strong application development services. As those services grew and the company became more full-service, company leaders sought a new name that would both reflect new capabilities and retain part of the company history.

The change to Spark Digital is followed by a comprehensive rebrand for the company, which has also launched today. A new logo and colorful palette reflects the company’s goal to bring a human touch to client services. New messaging focuses on the depth of experience Spark Digital can deliver to clients in the company’s core markets of Communication, Media and Technology.

“We’re thrilled to have a name and brand that reflects who we really are as company. We believe this change will help us communicate more effectively with our clients, recruit more top talent and support the ongoing growth of the company.” said Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Chris Cali.

Spark Digital’s leadership includes Chris Cali and Francisco Amadeo as Co-Founders and Partners; Christopher White and Kevin Norris as Partners; and Dennis McGovern as a Principal.

Spark Digital is a group of thinkers, designers and builders who make software products to power the Communications, Media and Technology industries. We seek partnerships with clients where our experience reduces risk and makes it easier to build amazing software products.
