Europcar Group (Paris:EUCAR), the European leader in vehicle rental services and a major player in mobility markets, has announced the acquisition of Brunel, a London-based ride-hailing business. Brunel is a leading provider of chauffeur and executive driver services available on a mobile application. It primarily serves companies operating across a range of corporate markets, including investment banks, law, advisory firms and financial institutions.
The acquisition marks another step in Europcar’s strategy to build a broad-ranging mobility offering to its customers, providing a choice of travel solutions to meet the time and convenience requirements of each journey. Through this acquisition, Europcar is able to meet its corporate customers’ highest expectations thanks to a dedicated tailor made service. As an example, Brunel offers specific added value services for roadshows and event management. These services are also available worldwide through a global network of partners in 75 countries, covering 480 cities.
