Bluecore Expands Executive Team with Customer Success and Engineering Hires

Industry veterans add critical expertise as company scales for next phase of growth

NEW YORK--()--Bluecore, an industry leading customer experience platform empowering marketers to take immediate action on behavioral and product data, today announced that Aaron Arboleda and Chad Horenfeldt have joined the company’s executive team.

Arboleda, whose engineering career includes an impressive tenure at Zynga where he oversaw the development of the popular Farmville games, has been named Bluecore’s vice president of engineering. Horenfeldt spent nearly a decade leading and growing customer success teams at Eloqua, the centerpiece of the Oracle Marketing Cloud, and is now Bluecore’s vice president of Customer Success.

This executive team growth comes on the heels of several significant milestones for the fast-growing company and will enable Bluecore to scale to the demands of the more than 200 retail partners it has acquired across the United States and the United Kingdom in just over two years.

“Aaron and Chad’s experience will be crucial to our next phase of growth,” said Fayez Mohamood, CEO and co-founder of Bluecore. “Much of our success to date can be attributed to our focus on the marketing and data integration pain points that large industry incumbents have ignored for decades. Aaron and Chad will provide the leadership and strategy to ensure we continue to balance product innovation and customer centricity, to complete the essential feedback loop from customer success to product development.”

In his new role, Arboleda will be charged with scaling Bluecore’s engineering team and processes to match the company’s rapid top-line growth. Bluecore’s CTO Mahmoud Arram said the high computation workloads and large, high-speed data infrastructure that Arboleda is accustomed to in the social and gaming industries offer many parallels to the retail marketing channels Bluecore works with and the real-time challenges its products address. Prior to joining the Bluecore team, Arboleda was the head of engineering at Kitchensurfing, and held roles at Zynga, Electronic Arts and Sony Online Entertainment.

Bluecore will leverage Horenfeldt’s experience of building high-performing customer success teams during exponential business growth to ensure customer centricity becomes the bedrock of Bluecore’s future success. Horenfeldt is tasked with cultivating and mentoring a team that serves as a strategic partner to the company’s customers, and will work closely with other executive team members to address marketers’ continually evolving digital and data needs. Most recently, Horenfeldt was the vice president of customer success at Influitive, a company that was established by the founding CEO of Eloqua.
