PEMBROKE, Bermuda & LONDON & DUBAI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (“AXIS Capital”) (NYSE:AXS) today announced that Christian Romieh has joined AXIS Accident & Health, a leading provider of accident, specialty health and travel-related insurance and reinsurance, as Vice President and Business Development Manager for its Middle East and North Africa reinsurance business.
Based in AXIS Capital’s office in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Mr. Romieh is responsible for developing and managing business production for Accident & Health reinsurance in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). Mr. Romieh reports to Rob Smart, Senior Vice President, International Reinsurance of AXIS Accident & Health.

Mr. Romieh has 10 years of medical reinsurance experience, most recently as Business Development Manager for broker NASCO France in Beirut. Prior to that, he served as a General Manager of TPA GlobeMed Gulf in Dubai. He holds a BSc degree from American University of Beirut and an MBA from University of Texas at Arlington.
