Three Prospect Medical Group-Affiliated Independent Practice Associations Awarded Highest Recognition by National Physician Association

LOS ANGELES--()--Three independent practice associations (IPAs) affiliated with Prospect Medical Group were awarded Elite Status on the CAPG Standards of Excellence survey for 2016. The awards – CAPG’s highest recognition – were earned by the Prospect Medical Group-affiliated IPAs in California, Rhode Island and Texas, making it the fifth year in a row that Prospect Medical Group has received this prestigious award.

The award-winning IPAs are Prospect Medical Group and its subsidiaries in California, which were honored for the fifth year in a row; Prospect Provider Group of Rhode Island, LLC (PPGRI), which is affiliated with CharterCARE Health Partners in Providence, RI; and Prospect Provider Group of Texas, Inc. (PPGT), which is affiliated with Nix Health in San Antonio, Texas. PPGRI, made up of 500 physicians and other providers, and PPGT, made up of approximately 300 physicians, both earned the award in their first year of participation in the survey.
