Phoenix Children’s Hospital to Begin Utilizing Vizient, Inc.’s National Contract Portfolio

IRVING, Texas--()--Vizient, Inc. today announced that Phoenix Children’s Hospital will begin using its national contract portfolio through its supply chain partnership with Children’s Hospital Association. Vizient’s pediatric portfolio is the industry's largest with more than 35,000 pediatric-specific line items on contract. The pediatric contract portfolio, analytics and other programs are all specifically designed to meet the unique needs and purchasing patterns of children’s hospitals.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country with 433 licensed beds, nearly 1,000 pediatric specialists on staff and roughly $75 million per year in supply spend. Phoenix Children’s provides inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care across more than 75 pediatric subspecialties, making it the most comprehensive pediatric care available in the state. The hospital’s six Centers of Excellence have grown in size and expertise to place them on par with some of the most prestigious of their kind in the United States.
