RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Envera Health has added another critical piece to its experienced management team in Cleveland Clinic leader Madhu Sasidhar, MD, who joins the healthcare engagement solutions provider as chief medical information officer.

Sasidhar heads the respiratory therapy section of the Cleveland Clinic’s Respiratory Institute, where he has been a staff physician since 2008. Before that, he was chief of staff and ICU medical director of Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell.
Sasidhar has earned three certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, in critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, and completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Yale University.
“Better data and better ways in which to use that data can improve clinical delivery and result in better medicine,” Sasidhar said. “Data can help providers focus on the interaction with patients as much as the expertise.”
For example, using advanced analytics can ensure that treatment resources are focused on those in most need of preventive care and other early interventions, Sasidhar said. Using the right quality metrics, and having access to that information when referral decisions are being made, also improve the quality and experience of care, he said.
