Ken Winer Joins TechCanary to Lead Sales and Marketing Effort

Winer brings two decades of experience in insurance, sales, marketing, technology, and alliances to accelerate TechCanary’s already strong growth

In his new position, Winer will report directly to Reid Holzworth, TechCanary CEO and founder, and will spearhead the sales and marketing effort including expansion of the team to best respond to the company’s recent and rapid growth and aggressive plans for the future.

Founded in 2013 with the introduction of the TechCanary Insurance Sales & Service Productivity Platform, the company spent its early years maturing the product and services, validating the market need, and engaging new clients primarily through word of mouth. Confident in its product, the company’s ability to deliver and the industry’s pent up need for new and innovative alternatives to generic CRM, current call center solutions and legacy agency management systems, the time was right for TechCanary to become more proactive in sales and marketing.

Winer comes to TechCanary with a long and successful history of business development in TechCanary’s target markets, including all agent channels and carriers, whether property and casualty, life, health and employee benefits. Ken’s recent experience includes vice president of agency channels at both AON and StoneRiver, and vice president agency sales & marketing at SeaPass Solutions, Inc. (now BOLT Solutions). Earlier in his career Winer held positions with increasing levels of responsibility at GCS Software, LLC; Quest Software (now Dell), and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). He is also a licensed insurance agent for life, health, and disability.
