TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Start spreading the news – Klick Health today announced it is opening an office in New York as it continues to build one of the best talent rosters in the healthcare and pharma marketing industry.
Klick’s new location, based in midtown Manhattan, is designed with innovative thinking and flexibility keeping pace with clients’ evolving needs. It will serve as a key collaboration space for both Klick’s clients and Klicksters, who have been joining the large independent agency in great numbers as it bolsters its presence in New York and supports its consistent growth.
In addition to hiring former longtime Havas Health Global CEO Doug Burcin as its Chief Growth Officer in late 2015, Klick has continued to add a wealth of seasoned agency talent to its team, including Noriko Yokoi as SVP, Account Planning; Lance Paull as Executive Creative Director; and Khawar Khokhar (KK) as EVP, Market Access & B2B.

- Noriko Yokoi - SVP Account Planning
Yokoi brings over 16 years of account planning experience to Klick. Previously, she held Executive Vice President positions at AREA 23 and H4B Chelsea. At both agencies, she led the growth of the strategic planning discipline from small departments to critical mass, and contributed to the success and growth of the agencies. Yokoi has extensive experience across the healthcare product life cycle and across multiple target audiences. She is one of the few planners who can work seamlessly across brand planning as well as CRM planning.
- Jennifer White - VP, Strategic Partnerships
White has over 15 years of consultative strategic business development experience spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer verticals in the US and abroad. Over the course of her career, she has worked with top-tier pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Merck, Johnson and Johnson, Novartis, Amgen, and Novo Nordisk, and has developed marketing campaigns that have improved the patient/physician interaction and ultimately generated significant ROI for the marketing sponsors.
- Maureen Svoboda – Group Account Director, Client Services
Svoboda joins Klick with over 20 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, including 15+ years in brand leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson, and the past four years at healthcare agencies. Previously, she was VP Group Account Director at Publicis – Razorfish Health. Svoboda successfully managed large, multi-disciplinary teams of account executives, strategic planners, creatives, technology, and analytics to grow clients’ brands. She has deep launch experience, with over a dozen launches in virology, cardiology, men’s health, antibiotics, and pain management. She instills client confidence by delivering on-budget, on-time work with top notch creative across HCP, patient and payor audiences.
- Lance Paull – Executive Creative Director
Formerly Executive Creative Director at Evoke Health, Paull has spent the last 25 years at both independent and large global network agencies, including Ogilvy, Y&R, and Amarati. He has developed creative for brands, like Reebok, IBM, Volvo, UPS, Jaguar, Four Seasons Hotels, Goldman Sachs, and BMW, and has received accolades from Cannes Grand Prix, Clio, Addy, Communication Arts, One Show, Archive, Andy, Hatch, Obie, Webby, and Kelly Awards. Paull’s imagination and storytelling played a significant role in campaigns like, “Meet the Lucky Ones” for Ford (one of the first online serials) and “What Color Do You Dream In?” – the VW Beetle reintroduction campaign, which won best of show at Cannes.
- Rachel McCready – Creative Strategist
A true health-marketing native, McCready has applied a "creategic" approach to more than 15 years of award-winning work covering nearly every specialty, organ system, and life stage. She has spent her career building brands in full-service, health-focused agencies, including her most recent role as EVP, Creative Director at Havas Health.
- Khawar Khokhar – EVP, Market Access & B2B
Khokhar joins Klick with deep expertise in access and reimbursement communications strategy and commercial activation. He has built and led teams at several holding companies with his most recent endeavours having been to establish full-service market access agencies for two global networks. Before moving into the world of healthcare communications and consulting, Khokhar spent time within the pharmacy services division of Cigna where he led pharmacy claims and operational rollout of the specialty pharmacy program.
- Yan Fossat - VP, Klick Labs
Fossat launched one of the world’s first medical 3D animation companies and brings to Klick over 15 years of expertise as a digital medical innovation specialist. His extensive knowledge and understanding of human-computer interaction, gamification, 3D technologies, and artificial intelligence – balanced by his experience with surgery/medical design, and photography – give Klick’s digital innovation lab a competitive edge.
- Leslie Doyle - VP, Program Director
Doyle brings 20 years experience in project management, primarily for pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising agencies. Prior to joining Klick, she was VP Group Director of Project Management at Digitas Health Lifebrands where she led AOR teams servicing multiple brands at Shire Pharmaceuticals and as well as working with the agency's Connected Health Innovations team to develop and deliver enterprise solutions for AstraZeneca’s Customer Experience + Innovation Group. Doyle has also worked with several AstraZeneca brands, AbbVie, and Sanofi.
