JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EverBank’s relationship with The Vail Valley Foundation continues to grow with the GoPro Mountain Games, June 9-12, 2016 in Vail, Colorado. The GoPro Mountain Games, a four-day festival with 35 events across 13 disciplines, is the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, music and mountain lifestyle.
EverBank and the Vail Valley Foundation have teamed up to create two marquee events, the EverBank Half Marathon and the EverBank XC Mountain Bike Race.
The EverBank Half Marathon is not your typical run. Starting in Vail Village, runners will climb 2,900 feet to the high tundra surrounding Shrine Mountain and finish at an altitude of 10,000 feet above sea level. Participants can savor their accomplishments, taking in the scenic mountaintop view over Vail before being driven down to join their family and friends.
The EverBank XC Mountain Bike Race tests bikers’ endurance and tenacity by venturing up Vail Mountain and ending in Lionshead. An event for all skill levels, the race includes a Junior division so the entire family can take on the challenging course.
