WYOMISSING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UGI Energy Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI), is pleased to welcome Pamela A. Witmer as vice president of government affairs. Witmer joins UGI Energy Services as the company continues to build-out its natural gas midstream assets to keep pace with growing demand for natural gas and to capitalize on the vast supplies in the Marcellus Shale regions of Pennsylvania.
Pam joins UGI following five years as a Pennsylvania Public Utility Commissioner.

During her time with the Commission, Witmer served on the Advisory Council for the North American Energy Standards Board, as well as served on the Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council of the Federal Communications Commission.
Witmer has also been active in the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), having recently been appointed to a NARUC/Department of Energy natural gas infrastructure technical partnership. In addition, Witmer served as a member of the Energy Resources & Environment and Critical Infrastructure Committees.
