TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hylant, one of the nation’s largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, has promoted Deborah Bubp to the role of vice president of talent management. In her new role, Bubp will be responsible for managing talent recruitment, development and retention across the company. Hylant President and Chief Financial Officer Bill Pridgeon made the announcement today.
Bubp joined Hylant in 2004, providing expertise and leadership in the areas of talent management, change management, organization and performance measurement, recruitment and retention, and training and development, and assumed the interim director of talent management position in January 2016. Prior to that, Bubp was a senior human resources management consultant for public-sector employers throughout Ohio and Indiana.

Bubp serves on the Toledo Children’s Hospital board of trustees and actively participates in the Human Resources in Insurance Working Group of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and her master’s degree in public administration with a specialty in public personnel management from Bowling Green State University.
