HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HSSK is pleased to announce Robert Ling has joined the firm as a senior managing director in the firm’s Houston office. In his new role, Ling provides valuation consulting assistance for a range of specialties, including financial and tax reporting, transactions and dispute advisory.
A Dallas native with close to 30 years in the industry, Ling brings a depth of knowledge to HSSK. Past experience consists of time as regional leader for Deloitte’s Eastern European valuation practice, and an extensive background in financial, accounting and valuation work. Most recently, the University of North Texas graduate retired after a 12-year career with KPMG. There, he served as the partner-in-charge of the Houston valuation practice and the national leader for valuation services to the energy sector.
Ling’s reach extends far and wide. His career includes more than 1,000 valuation engagements, and spans areas such as the Middle East, Europe, Russia, South America, Africa and Iceland. He is a chartered financial analyst charterholder and certified public accountant, and holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation designation from the American Society of Appraisers. Ling is also accredited in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He described his transition to HSSK as a positive one.
