NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citi Private Bank announced today that Ida Liu, currently Head of the North America Asian Clients Group, has been appointed Global Market Manager for New York, effective May 9, 2016. In her new role, Ms. Liu will be focused on new client acquisition, increasing investments business, cross Citi partnerships and developing key external relationships. Ms. Liu will report to Tracey Warson, Head of North America, Citi Private Bank and join the Citi Private Bank North America Leadership Team.

Since 2011, Ms. Liu has led the North America Asian Clients Group in addition to her role as a Senior Private Banker. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Liu was Global Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Vivienne Tam. Previously, Ms. Liu worked in Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking division, in both New York and Hong Kong.

In 2015, Ms. Liu was inducted into Citi Private Bank’s Chairman’s Council Hall of Fame for her six consecutive years as one of the firm’s top performers.
Ms. Liu holds a BA with honors from Wellesley College and a Merrill Lynch Executive MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
