SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Qualtrics, the world’s leading customer insight platform, today announced the addition of Kim Scott to its board of directors. As a former executive at Google and Apple, Scott brings a wealth of operational and leadership experience to the board.
Scott is a graduate of Harvard Business School and has served in leadership positions for many high-profile tech companies during her career including Google and Apple, and has served as an advisor to companies such as Dropbox and Twitter. Behind the scenes Kim has coached many of the top CEOs in tech. Her most recent success has been her breakthrough leadership training on radical candor. She is currently working on a book that will be published in 2017 titled: Radical Candor: Be a Kickass Boss Without Losing your Humanity. She was a founding member of Apple University and before that led AdSense, YouTube, and Doubleclick Online Sales and Operations at Google.
“As Qualtrics continues in hypergrowth, it is essential that we stay scrappy and scale effectively,” said Ryan Smith, CEO and co-founder of Qualtrics. “Kim has been part of two of the best growth stories anyone’s ever seen. Her experience operating and scaling a business will be invaluable to us.”
“I’ve benefited from working with Kim Scott for over a decade. Her problem solving ability and leadership skills propel execs, founders, and companies beyond their expectations,” said Bryan Schreier, partner at Sequoia Capital and Qualtrics board member. “Qualtrics is reaching new heights in the world of customer experience. Kim’s addition will help accelerate the development of this enduring enterprise.”
“Having been part of two amazing growth stories at Apple and Google, I am thrilled to have that same opportunity again now with Qualtrics,” said Kim Scott. “What Qualtrics is doing in the customer experience space is as exciting and impactful to enterprise technology as anything I am seeing right now. Working with them as an advisor and watching this incredible growth story for the past several years has given me an inside view of its impact, potential and trajectory.”
