SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveRamp™, an Acxiom® company, today announced it has hired Jeff Smith as Chief Marketing Officer, further strengthening its executive bench. In this role, Smith will accelerate LiveRamp’s growth by broadening the industry’s understanding of the strategic importance of data connectivity and its ability to unlock better customer experiences on any channel or device.
Smith, an experienced leader in ad tech, digital and mobile media, big data and SaaS, brings 20+ years of global experience building world-class, revenue-focused marketing teams in companies ranging from high-growth start-ups to Fortune 100 businesses. Smith has held leadership positions spanning general management, sales, marketing, business development and product management. In his new role as CMO of LiveRamp, Smith will report to Travis May, LiveRamp’s president and general manager.

Smith, who holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, will be based in San Francisco.
