TechSmith Announces Coach’s Eye Integration with GoPro

Product connection opens endless opportunities for video capture, analysis and feedback

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Coach’s Eye, an award-winning instant video analysis solution from TechSmith, today announced it has extended its compatibility to GoPro products. The integration gives athletes and coaches the ability to wirelessly import video from their GoPro directly into Coach’s Eye. Since its launch in 2011, Coach’s Eye has been used to analyze millions of videos from novice to professional athletes. Now, with its connection with GoPro products, it’s become a truly mobile video system that enables more video, and even more feedback.

By opening access to GoPro’s Developer Program Toolkits, GoPro has created opportunities for third-party developers to create products that address their vertical user-groups. In the case of TechSmith, Android and iOS Coach’s Eye users with a VIP or TEAMS subscription can take full advantage of the integration. First, they can import GoPro videos via a wireless transfer, eliminating cables and cords and allowing the user to focus on precise, actionable feedback. In addition, Coach’s Eye users can preview live GoPro videos from within the platform. As part of this functionality, they can remotely control the camera view to ensure only the best shot is captured.

The GoPro Developer Program and Works with GoPro were publicly introduced today at an event in San Francisco, California. Coach’s Eye is among a group of early developers to have access to GoPro’s toolkits to enable their products to connect with GoPro products, and it is also one of the first developers to complete the Works with GoPro verification so that GoPro customers can be assured that the Coach’s Eye app Works with GoPro. Customers in the Continental United States can purchase camera bundles in-app and on CoachsEye.com/GoPro. The integrated functionality is also available to other users through the individual purchases of Coach’s Eye and GoPro.
