Village Nurseries Celebrates 40th Anniversary by Hosting Customer Appreciation Event for Landscape Professionals

ORANGE, Calif.--()--To commemorate 40 years in the wholesale nursery business, Village Nurseries is inviting landscape architects, landscape contractors and designers to join in the celebration Friday, April 15, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the company’s Orange Landscape Center located at 1582 N. Tustin, Orange, CA.

Featured speakers Anthony Tesselaar and Nicholas Staddon will talk at two separate sessions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can RSVP for either session by calling (714) 998-8751.

Anthony Tesselaar is the visionary behind the Flower Carpet® Rose, one of the world’s most successful plantings. In 1994 Mr. Tesselaar and his wife Sheryl established Anthony Tesselaar Plants to concentrate on marketing these new plants on a worldwide basis. Today, the company searches the world and introduces new plants for the home garden and landscape markets.

Nicholas Staddon—“The Plantsman”—is a sought-out resource and guest for TV and radio garden shows across the U.S. Working with professional plant breeders, hybridizers, and explorers for 30 years, he scoured the globe for new discoveries in the plant world. Mr. Staddon is currently working as a special consultant to Village Nurseries.
