PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CSS Industries, Inc. (NYSE: CSS) is pleased to announce that William Rulon-Miller has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Rulon-Miller has significant experience as a business leader, with over 35 years in the financial industry as an investment banker and venture capitalist. For over 30 years, Mr. Rulon-Miller was employed by the investment banking firm Janney Montgomery Scott, serving from 1982 to 2009 as either Director or Co-Director of the firm’s Investment Banking Group, and from 2005 until 2009 as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He also has served on the Board of Directors of numerous publicly-held and privately-held companies, including Metrologic Instruments, Inc., Destination Maternity Corporation, Intelligent Electronics, Inc., and The JPM Company. Mr. Rulon-Miller also served from February 2012 to February 2016 as the President of the non-profit organization Knowles Science Teaching Foundation. He received his undergraduate degree in 1970 from Princeton University, and his M.B.A. in 1976 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
