NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA), Middle Tennessee’s largest orthopaedic surgery provider, has opened a new office in Nashville’s ONEC1TY development. The practice’s newest and largest site is located at 8 City Boulevard, and replaces its 301 21st Avenue North office. All physicians and services previously based at the 21st Avenue North location have moved to TOA ONEC1TY. TOA patients will enjoy the same high quality care in an improved, state-of-the-art facility located at the foot of the new 28th-31st Avenue connector.
“Ever since the ‘founding father’ of TOA, Dr. George S. Carpenter, Sr., opened Nashville’s first orthopaedic surgery practice over 90 years ago, TOA physicians have provided exceptional care throughout Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky,” said Steve Wade, CEO of TOA. “Our new ONEC1TY office continues this tradition. It was designed with patient care in mind and will allow us to deliver high quality orthopaedic care in a cutting-edge, modern and conveniently located space. Our ultimate goal is to improve the patient experience and augment TOA’s reputation as THE destination for orthopaedic care and services.”
TOA’s newest home at ONEC1TY underscores the practice’s commitment to high quality care. The office features new equipment throughout, including advanced imaging technology. New exam tables and furnishings complement the innovative space design. Updated equipment will allow medical staff to access medical records and imaging information directly from exam rooms, making it easier and more efficient for clinicians to review and illustrate diagnostic findings with patients and educate them about their conditions and treatment options.
Located just over a mile away from the previous office, TOA ONEC1TY offers physical therapy, hand therapy, MRI, the latest digital X-ray, and features new services such as CT and fluoroscopic procedures. Additionally, TOA’s ONEC1TY location offers an extended hours walk-in clinic that will provide both adult and pediatric patients with acute injuries (fractures, sprains, cuts, strains, etc.) immediate access to high quality orthopaedic care. The walk-in clinic will also treat injured workers and offer drug screening services to the workers’ compensation community.
“The opening of TOA ONEC1TY is an exciting development for both patients and staff,” said Dr. Jeff Herring. “The ONEC1TY development is an innovative, wellness-focused community, offering a range of amenities TOA visitors can enjoy. The new technology and equipment TOA has invested in will help our practice enhance the care we provide to people of all ages and advance orthopaedic care across the region.”
TOA will continue to operate its 17 other convenient office locations around Middle Tennessee. Its hospital and surgery center affiliations will also remain unchanged. TOA phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses will stay the same.
