MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apartment search startup ABODO today announced the release of ABODO Assistant, the industry’s first personal assistant for apartment hunters.
Powered through live chat, ABODO Assistant provides the perfect mix of time saving and personalization that millennial renters crave. Renters provide search criteria to an apartment search expert who sifts through hundreds of rentals across several listing sites, including Craigslist, to find their curated and personalized list of top matches.
“We started ABODO because searching for a new place can be really stressful,” noted Alec Slocum, the company’s founder and CEO. “Our mission has always been to make it easy for our renters to access our huge selection of available rentals. And we realized we could solve an industry void by helping renters research their options through a convenient, personalized concierge service.”
With deep local market knowledge, Assistants are prepared to answer common questions around neighborhood characteristics, transportation options and other key details. After the Assistant confirms unit availability, users can contact the property directly or have their ABODO Assistant help through the entire rental process.
“The response from renters has been extraordinary,” added Slocum. “Most of our renters don’t enjoy looking for a new apartment. When they realize our experts are just like having a friend give you advice on where to live in an unfamiliar city, their excitement and relief is real.”
The free service, which is currently available in the ABODO iOS app, will soon be available on the company’s web and Android apps.
