Monarch Specialty Group’s clients are pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacy practices facing complex market access challenges involving specialty biologics requiring sophisticated and experienced commercial advisers.
In his role, Dr. Schwartz will assist Monarch Specialty Group’s work with manufacturer and pharmacy clients regarding the company’s provider and patient hub support services as well as supporting new market access strategies for orphan drugs and related specialty biologics.

In addition to medical practice, Dr. Schwartz’s experience includes leading over 1000 clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, oncology, vaccines, women’s health, sleep medicine, weight loss, nutraceuticals, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry, rheumatology, and pulmonary medicine. Prior to joining Monarch Specialty Group, Dr. Schwartz served as Chief Medical Officer of QPS Holdings, and President of QPS MRA, its subsidiary. QPS is a US-based, international GLP/GCP-compliant contract research organization supporting discovery, preclinical and clinical drug development. Prior to its sale to QPS, Dr. Schwartz was the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Miami Research Associates, Inc., a privately held multi-specialty clinical research organization serving the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Schwartz is board certified in gastroenterology & internal medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians & American Gastroenterology Association.
