MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Segal Institute for Clinical Research was recently recognized as the top fundraiser at the annual NAMIWalk Broward County during NAMI Broward County’s Holiday Party, Volunteer Recognition and Walk Celebration.
The event, which occurred on Friday, January 8th, 2015, was held for all NAMI members and walk Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, and Team Captains. Segal Institute was honored and recognized as a Sponsor as well as a top fundraising team for the NAMIWalk. Segal Institute’s team, Fight Club, raised $5,439.

NAMIWalk Broward County took place on November 14, 2015 at Tracewinds Park in Coconut Creek. This was the third year NAMI Broward County hosted the NAMIWalk to help not only raise funds needed to offer programs and services, but to also raise awareness about mental illness. The 5k walk had over 1150 participants, raising over $112,000 for NAMI Broward County and NAMI Miami-Dade.
