MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) has been awarded a $159M task order on the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant contract to provide U.S. Army - Project Director, Network Enablers (PD Net E) systems engineering services to streamline the Army’s tactical and data network capabilities. Booz Allen will assist with standardizing processes, reducing overhead, improving security, and increasing efficiency for PD Net E as well as the firm’s other Army C4ISR clients – ultimately helping to strengthen the reliability of the networks on which deployed Soldiers depend. The five-year task order, executed by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), is designed to help PD NET E leadership integrate various networking products and capabilities – including hardware, software, security, and tactical network initialization solutions.
Booz Allen brings standardized methodologies, tools, and support to other Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) clients including Program Manager, Tactical Radios, and Program Manager, Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (PM WIN-T) and provides PD Net E with a comprehensive engineering solution.
