NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Time Inc. Chairman and CEO Joe Ripp today appointed Jennifer L. Wong President of Time Inc. Digital. This is a new role that will report to the CEO. Wong is a digital media veteran who most recently was Chief Business Officer of POPSUGAR. She will oversee Time Inc.'s digital and interactive strategies and operations, including its ad-supported and subscription-based digital properties that reach more than 150 million consumers every month. In addition she will be responsible for the development, launch and acquisition of strategic digital services. Wong begins on January 4.

In 2015, Time Inc.’s global multi-platform audience has grown to 155 million, up 19% year-over-year. The company’s social footprint rose to nearly 180 million, a 45% rise year-over-year, and its video audience increased 86%.
Since 2011, Wong has led the business operations and growth strategy for the media and commerce businesses at POPSUGAR, Inc. As its Chief Business Officer, she grew the POPSUGAR and ShopStyle brands internationally, while also expanding its ad products, video business, commerce revenue and other high-growth revenue streams and businesses. Previously, Wong held several executive management roles at AOL, where she oversaw Global Business Operations and then AOL Huffington Post Media Group’s lifestyle portfolio of brands, including StyleList, HuffPost Style, HuffPost Food and HuffPost Travel. During her tenure at AOL, she helped oversee M&A efforts and integrations including acquisitions of TechCrunch, 5Min and The Huffington Post. Earlier in her career Wong was an Associate Partner in the Telecom, Media and High Tech practice at McKinsey & Company, working with a range of digital media and technology clients. She is a Harvard Business School graduate and received a Masters degree in engineering economic systems and operations research from Stanford University after graduating Yale University with a degree in applied mathematics.
