H&M TO OPEN AT WESTFIELD WORLD TRADE CENTER

NEW YORK--()--H & M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), one of the world’s largest fashion retailers, famous for offering fashion and quality in a sustainable way, is thrilled to announce their first location in Lower Manhattan. Measuring approximately 25,000 square feet, the new location at the highly anticipated Westfield World Trade Center is set to open in Spring 2016 and will join the seventeen other locations currently open in New York City.

Westfield World Trade Center is a defining retail and dining destination and the centerpiece of New York City’s newest shopping district in lower Manhattan. As the largest fashion retailer to open in Westfield World Trade Center, H&M will offer guests a one stop shopping destination with high fashion for ladies and men, while also showcasing H&M Beauty.

H&M at Westfield World Trade Center will also be the first location in the U.S. to be applying for LEED certification. The interior of H&M’s newest location will operate on renewable power sources and will use less electricity than a conventional office building. H&M will be incorporating recycled content materials throughout the store, as well as using LED lighting and Energy Star equipment.
