Many Vivint customers own a pet, as do nearly 60 percent of Americans.1 To most of these people, pets are like family. But according to the American Humane Association, more than 10 million dogs and cats in the U.S. are lost or stolen every year.
A new report from NextMarket Insights sponsored by Vivint found that many customers are using smart home technology to more easily and conveniently protect their pets, while also keeping them healthy. - Monitoring a pet. Vivint users can view live HD video of their pets from installed cameras throughout the home and yard, allowing them to check in throughout the day. They can also monitor their pet’s health.
