PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LVMH announces the appointment of Anish Melwani as Chairman & CEO of LVMH Inc., effective January 4, 2016. Anish will be based in New York, and be responsible for the development of LVMH activities in North America.

Anish joins LVMH from McKinsey & Company, where he co-leads the Global Strategy & Corporate Finance practice and supports clients across industries. At McKinsey since 1999, he has counseled senior executives of leading global companies on issues related to corporate strategy, M&A, alliances, portfolio management and organization. He has worked in McKinsey’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices, and most recently, has been based in the New York office, where he has advised leaders of public sector institutions in New York City. Anish is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Board of the United Way of New York City, and holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
