CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CareMore’s Dr. Sachin H. Jain is among Modern Healthcare’s 2015 class of Up and Comers. Modern Healthcare, a leader in health care business news, research and data, annually honors 12 emerging leaders all age 40 or under, who have made significant contributions in the areas of health care administration, management or policy early in their careers.
“No one understands better than young health care leaders how quickly change is occurring in the field,” said Merrill Goozner, editor of Modern Healthcare. “Every one of the winners in this year’s Up & Comers competition offered a unique vision for health care’s future, and demonstrated the drive and leadership skills required to achieve it. We expect to hear lots more from this group in the years ahead.”
Jain, CareMore’s chief medical officer, said, “It’s a great honor to be selected for this recognition. I am proud of this recognition, but I think it is really recognition of our entire team at CareMore and the passion that we employ in delivering high-quality, innovative care to the people who need our attention.”
Leeba Lessin, chief executive officer for CareMore, said, “CareMore is proud of Sachin’s acknowledgment as an Up and Comer. More than ever, leaders in health care must be modern leaders – fast-paced, technology savvy and willing to challenge the status quo. CareMore is quite fortunate to have such a leader in Sachin.”
This year’s honorees are profiled in the Oct.12 issue of Modern Healthcare and online at ModernHealthcare.com/upandcomers2015. Nominations for the program, now in its 29th year, opened in early June and closed in mid-August. The number of submissions more than doubled from the previous year.
