ATM Security Association Chooses Intralinks VIA for Secure Content Collaboration

NEW YORK--()--Intralinks® Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:IL), a leading global SaaS provider of secure content collaboration solutions, today announced that the ATM Security Association for Enhanced Technology, a global organization that brings together ATM manufacturers, suppliers and financial institutions to create vendor independent security standards, has selected Intralinks VIA® to safely share information between their members. The association, whose current members include, Hitachi, ABN-AMRO, TMD Security, Cryptera, GMV, and Wells Fargo, among others, will use Intralinks VIA to support its mission of developing common security standards, analyzing and responding to identified threats, and creating innovative new countermeasures.

“The ATM experience can’t compromise between unparalleled security and ease-of-use for consumers, and we had the same expectations as we selected a content collaboration solution,” said Joerg Engelhardt Finance Director, ATM Security Association for Enhanced Technology. “Intralinks has deep experience in financial services, and Intralinks VIA gave use the content security capabilities we could trust with the very sensitive information we needed to share.”

The ATM Security Association for Enhanced Technology is an independent organization dedicated to the promulgation of information about threats, formulation of industry standards, and discussion of security trends that affect the industry. The focus of the association is on both hardware and software-related threats and physical and logical attacks. They share knowledge and information about recognized attack scenarios and threats and provide proactive recommendations on countermeasures. The association needed a secure way for its members to access a variety of content, working collaboratively on articles drawing attention to threats, or simply sharing new information about threats to ATM security.

“We are excited to work together with members from the different fields involved in the financial industries for sharing information to mitigate the ATM fraud and enhance the security situations in the industry,” said Norichika Miyamoto, Board Member, ATM Security Association for Enhanced Technology.

“Keeping information secure is the top concern for organizations considering a content collaboration and file sharing solution, and this is Intralinks’ core strength,” said Daren Glenister, Field CTO at Intralinks. “We’re very pleased that the ATM Security Association selected Intralinks to support its important work, and look forward to working with them and their members.”

Intralinks VIA is a robust, yet simple, enterprise collaboration solution that gives organizations the reassurance that their documents remain secure, while employees, staff, or volunteers continue to exchange, and work on documents, wherever they are. With Intralinks VIA, the ATM Security Association for Enhanced Technology can manage content wherever it goes, ensuring the security of their proprietary information. The association is able to control who is granted permission to view and share files with plug-in free information rights management (IRM), which was key as they have no control over members’ computers.
