Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Leaders Honored as Top Industry Influencers

RIVERWOODS, Ill.--()--In its newly published list of the “Top 100 Most Influential People” for 2015, Accounting Today named three Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting executives for the prestigious honor that recognizes the top thought leaders and visionaries shaping the accounting profession.

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Global CEO Karen Abramson was recognized for her leadership and ability to help the profession transition to the cloud. In Accounting Today’s own words, “Abramson provides steady leadership to one of the leading software and information providers to the profession, helping it surefootedly negotiate one of the greatest challenges the vendor community has yet to face — the move to the cloud.”

Also making the prominent list are two members of Abramson’s Tax & Accounting Division Executive Team: Teresa Mackintosh, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, CCH Software President & CEO and Jason Marx, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, CCH Small Firm Services President. Mackintosh was honored for her experience in the software space, valuable perspective of the tools Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting builds and her insight into the way accountants should use them. Marx was recognized for being a pioneer in bringing cloud-based practice management tools and portals to small accounting and tax firms.
