TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kubota Tractor Corporation introduces its new M6-Series, a line of four utility tractors that are performance-matched with Kubota’s full line of hay tools. The series includes the M6-101, M6-111, M6-131 and M6-141, ranging from 82 to 114 PTO horsepower. Features on the M6-Series include a 24-speed power shift transmission, spacious four-post cab and in-cab flow control for optimal rear hydraulic performance. Kubota’s new M6-Series tractors are designed for a variety of agricultural uses including hay production, dairy and cattle operations.
“Kubota introduced our hay tools line last year, and now the M6-Series further expands our entry into the hay market. Plus, we added deluxe features on these models that are turning heads in the utility hay tractor segment,” said Kent Brown, senior product manager, agriculture tractors for Kubota. “In true Kubota fashion we focused first on engineering when designing the M6-Series, including enhancements like a 24-speed power shift transmission and a spacious four-post cab for greater productivity and operator comfort.”
Compatible with Kubota’s Full Hay Tool Line
The M6-Series is performance-matched with Kubota’s entire hay tools line, including balers, disc mower conditioners, disc mowers, rotary rakes and tedders. The introduction of the M6 line further expands Kubota’s strength in the agricultural market, allowing its dealers to serve as a convenient, one-stop destination for Kubota quality tractors and hay implements.
Total Control Achieved with 24-Speed Powershift Transmission
All M6-Series models come equipped with a 24-speed intelli-shift transmission. The transmission features an 8-speed powershift with high, medium and low ranges allowing the operator to have more control with 24 gears in both forward and reverse. Each of the M6-Series tractors comes equipped with a multiple wet-clutch. Plus, when the Work Kruise is engaged there is no need for throttle adjustment.
Productive Performance-Matched Front Loaders
Two loader options are available on the M6-Series including the LA1955 and the LA2255. The loaders are performance-matched with all four models in the series and boast a maximum lift height of 145.7 inches and 161.4 inches and a lift capacity at pivot pin of 4,299 and 4,877 pounds, respectively.
The M6-Series line will be available at dealerships nationwide beginning in August, 2015. For more product information, please visit the M-Series and Hay Tools product pages on www.kubota.com.
