PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that the city of Jackson, Mississippi, has successfully implemented Tyler’s Incode® court case management solution and Tyler Content Manager™ document management solution to provide digital access to court information and streamline court processes using modern technology. The city has also implemented Tyler’s Brazos™ electronic citation application that interfaces with Incode.
Jackson signed a contract for many Tyler applications, including criminal case management, centralized cash collections, document management, warrant scheduling, jail interface, electronic docketing, and general ledger. Implementation spanned three years and approximately 1.8 million files were converted during the process.
“The Incode system gives the court the ability to go paperless, as well as automate processes which were historically done manually,” said Jackson Court Administrator Jeanette Banks. “With Incode’s modern functionality, we expect the system to save the city time and money.”
“We’re pleased to help the city of Jackson move toward paperless processes and streamline court workflow,” said Brett Cate, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “More than 800 municipal court clients nationwide, including many the size of Jackson, have selected Tyler to provide its case management software, and the successful partnerships we have with our clients is an important measure of our success.”
Jackson is the state’s capital with a population of approximately 173,000. The city, located in Hinds County, is one of two county seats and is also Mississippi’s most populous city. Jackson processes more than 25,000 citations annually.
