Hudson & Marshall’s Leading Women Recognized for Influence, Innovation in Housing Industry

CEO Trixy Weiss and President Rayman Mathoda Earn Top Honors from Housingwire Magazine and the MReport

DALLAS--()--In its August issue, Housingwire Magazine reported that only three women led major U.S. banks in 2014 while just under 18 percent of Fortune 500 companies had female CEOs. While searching for women who lead companies, mentor others and give back to their communities within the full spectrum of the housing economy, Trixy Weiss, CEO of Hudson & Marshall and Genesis Capital, was identified as one of Housingwire’s 2015 Women of Influence for driving the market forward.

In the last year, Weiss engineered a strategic partnership between Genesis Capital’s sister company, Genesis Auctions, and Hudson & Marshall to create one of the most significant independent auction providers in the industry. By focusing on providing solutions to the sophisticated real estate investor, Weiss has succeeded in changing the way Fortune 500 institutions liquidate real estate assets and led Genesis Capital to a record-breaking 625 percent increase in loan origination volume in 2014.

“It is an extreme honor to be recognized by Housingwire amongst such an outstanding group of fellow females who are also passionate about the housing economy and leading stunning paths as CEOs, CFOs, presidents, executive directors and real estate agents,” said Weiss. “This has been an amazing year of growth for me as a founder, and I am looking forward to continued results with Hudson & Marshall.”

Additionally, the MReport named Rayman Mathoda, president of Hudson & Marshall and Genesis Capital, to its 2015 Leading Ladies list of 40 women nominated by their peers in the housing and mortgage industry for qualities that make them strong leaders including intelligence, drive and pursuit of innovation. The women will be recognized in an August 2015 special issue as well as acknowledged at the Women in Home Ownership Leadership Forum at the Five Star Conference held on Sept. 18.

“The work of the women commended as leading ladies by the MReport has been indispensable to shaping the future of housing,” said Mathoda. “I am proud to stand with them and continue innovating a technology-driven auction powerhouse at Hudson & Marshall.”

With a more than 50-year history selling homes through auctions, Hudson & Marshall meets the evolving needs of clients with a full-suite offering of superior auction solutions. Emphasis by leaders like Weiss and Mathoda on using technology to better understand how and where people shop for real estate has increased visibility and bid activity for auctions while providing actionable data to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.

Investments into infrastructure and revolutionizing the online bidding process have proven Hudson & Marshall’s commitment to offering home shoppers at every degree of sophistication the best service and experience as they go through one of life’s biggest moments. These efforts have also qualified the company as a 2015 Tech Titans Technology Adopter finalist for outstanding adoption and application of innovative technologies that successfully change and impact business results. The Tech Titans awards recognize outstanding technology companies and individuals in the North Texas area who have made significant contributions to their industries during the past year.

“Real estate has become a top five category online, and at Hudson & Marshall we are working to reach the 60-plus million visitors looking to engage in Web-related real estate activity,” Weiss said. “It is rewarding to see our approach to leadership in that category achieve such warm recognition from well-respected organizations like Housingwire, the MReport and Tech Titans.”
