RENTON, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Odin today became one of the first companies to support automation of Azure services offered through the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program.
Announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, service providers can now offer Azure services through the CSP program. Partners can manage the lifecycle of their own customers with direct provisioning, billing and 24/7 support of Microsoft cloud services. When combined with on-premises Windows Azure Pack services, service providers can deliver a hybrid cloud offering based on Azure technologies.
“The Microsoft CSP program is a powerful model which opens up new opportunities for partners,” said Alex Danyluk, vice president, Alliances at Odin. “Service providers who work with Odin have been able to future-proof their Microsoft investments by having access to the latest offerings such as Azure through the Odin Service Automation platform.”
By using Odin Service Automation, partners have already delivered more than 1.7 million Office 365 and Exchange business class email seats. Leading service providers, including Cobweb and home.pl, are already using Odin Service Automation to deliver Office 365 and other Microsoft cloud services through the CSP program. Now, Odin Service Automation is one of the first platforms available for partners to automate the end-to-end service delivery, customer management and billing across Microsoft Azure services, Office 365, the Enterprise Mobility Suite, together with hundreds of other complementary Odin-enabled services.
“The Cloud Solution Provider program puts our partners at the center of the customer lifecycle with direct provisioning, billing and support of Microsoft cloud services,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “Odin’s solutions empower partners to more quickly adopt CSP and begin to create differentiated offers for our mutual customers, while helping them on their cloud journey.”
“Odin’s long history of automation-driven service provider enablement makes it a logical partner for Microsoft Cloud Solution Partners that seek to rapidly capitalize on the opportunity to deliver Office 365 and other Microsoft Azure services to their customers,” said Melanie Posey, Research VP for IaaS/Hosting Infrastructure Services at IDC. “Time-to-market and operational efficiency are vital for solution providers in today’s cloud services markets: Odin Service Automation simplifies the process.”
Advantages of Odin Service Automation for Azure in CSP include:
- Unified and automated provisioning, billing and customer management across services
- Accelerated time-to-market with a plug-and-play CSP module that eliminates coding, integration and service update complexity
- Bundled Azure services with many other Microsoft offerings, including Office 365
- Broad ecosystem of hundreds of complementary Odin-ready services from many other ISVs
- Ability to automate and build value-added hybrid applications
“As an early adopter of the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program in 2014, our key focus has always been to humanize IT and stick by our mantra of ‘Cloud Made Easy’. The Odin Service Automation platform has enabled us to deliver on this mantra. We can now easily package additional services such as the Azure suite to our successful Office 365 offerings,” says Anthony Banek, chief executive officer of OzHosting.com. “Odin Service Automation Platform enables us to differentiate and deliver the greatest customer value, and drive customer adoption and satisfaction.”
