KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MRO, a leader in the secure, compliant and efficient exchange of Protected Health Information (PHI), announced today it has acquired the assets of two medical record service companies, AMRAS Corporation and AKCopy, both located in the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas areas. The transaction was effective Wednesday, June 24, 2015.
As a result of the transaction, MRO is now able to provide an additional 125 Texas-based healthcare organizations with their solutions for PHI disclosure management. During the transition to MRO, AMRAS and AKCopy clients will benefit from MRO’s industry-leading Release of Information (ROI) solutions with no disruptions to access or customer service.
