Moran’s 30-year government career culminated with 10 years at the senior executive level, providing vision, leadership and focus to complex IT programs. After starting her career with the U.S. Army, she served as Director of Network Services for the Defense Information Systems Agency, leading a team of 700 personnel, military, civilian and contractors in the design, build and sustainment of the DoD Information Systems networks. These included terrestrial, undersea, mobile and all commercial and military satellite programs. She is currently the president and managing partner of Pikes Way, LLC, providing executive and professional leadership for national and international telecommunications consulting. Moran has an extensive background in program management for the DoD, specifically focused on the design, build, integration, operations and management functions for wide area networks and communications capabilities. Her experience includes management of the Global Service Provider grade Internet Protocol networks supporting critical command and control and business applications for the DoD up to and including presidential communications with other nations.
