MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SoTel Systems, LLC (SoTel), a leading telecom and data VAD (Value Add Distributor) and domestic VoIP service provider, announces expansion into the Latin American region through the acquisition of the international business operations of Teleswitch in Miami, FL. The new division of SoTel will operate as Teleswitch International (www.teleswitchinternational.com).
Service providers, resellers and integrators throughout Latin America can now buy OEM new distribution gear, as well as SoTel’s market-leading refurbished Cisco, Avaya, and Nortel equipment from Teleswitch International.
As part of the arrangement, Teleswitch International added a new warehouse and hired seven employees. In addition to being the primary hub for Latin American operations, the Miami warehouse will act as a SoTel domestic distribution center with will-call and stocking operations to support SoTel’s south Florida partners.
Teleswitch International is continuing forward as the Latin American distributor of first choice for the worldwide leader in headsets, Plantronics.
