In this role, Reed, who has more than 20 years of financial and payments experience, is responsible for providing strategic direction and driving business growth across the Digital River® World Payments™ product portfolio, including managing sales and marketing, product management, operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Reed’s professional background includes deep experience across financial services and transaction-related businesses, as well as a strong understanding of the global payments landscape. In addition to leading emerging payments technologies as well as international product design, definition and development, Reed has managed strategic partnerships, key channel relationships and acquisitions. He joins Digital River from MasterCard Worldwide, where he served for ten years, most recently as the senior vice president and group head of emerging payments product for credential management.
Prior to MasterCard Worldwide, he served in leadership positions with companies such as First Data Corporation; Electronic Commerce Payments, Inc.; CheckFree Corporation, which is now part of Fiserv, Inc.; Banc One Corporation, which was acquired by JPMorgan Chase & Co.; and Ernst & Young LLP.
