NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Richline Group, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, is partnering with the JCK trade show to bring many of the latest innovations in wearable technology and connected devices to the year’s largest gathering of jewelry buyers and influencers.
The Richline sponsored event is presenting a range of cutting edge technologies. Attendees will be able to take a virtual tour of a jewelry store courtesy of Next Galaxy and Zeiss 3D Glasses, see stylish 3D printed high heeled shoes, or even print edible designs made entirely from chocolate. Adding consumer relevance to these more hands on experiences, Richline is bringing together a futuristic array of wearable and connected devices that enhance women’s fitness, wellness, safety, lifestyle computing and communication with an emphasis on glamour.
In addition to teasing a few of its new smart jewelry designs ahead of the show, the event is set to introduce a wide range of smart jewelry options at this year’s Jewelry Market Week in Las Vegas, which include collaborations with tech companies Cuff, Omate, as well as third-party compatible jewelry offerings for existing wearable technology, like Fitbit®. New partnerships will also be announced and displayed at the JCK trade show.
“We believe that wearable technology will continue to touch every facet of our lives, including our industry,” said Richline Group CEO, Dennis Ulrich regarding the upcoming event. "Richline’s foray into the marriage of jewelry and technology began with extensive research, and we are thrilled to bring the best of what we’ve seen to JCK Las Vegas in order to help the industry better understand how connected devices will impact the future of jewelry.”
In addition to a walk-in exhibit, which will be open to all those attending JCK Las Vegas, Richline is hosting a panel featuring innovators in the wearables space. The panel will be moderated by Robin Raskin, Founder and President of Living in Digital Times. It will also include industry leaders Dave Monahan of FitLinxx, Amanda Parkes of Manufacture NY, Scott Amyx of Amyx+McKinsey, and Sonny Vu of Misfit.
