CMTC Adds Gregg Profozich as Director of Next Generation Strategy (NGS) Programs

TORRANCE, Calif.--()--California Manufacturing Technology Consulting® (CMTC) announced today key changes to the company’s leadership team. Gregg Profozich has joined CMTC as Director of NGS Programs and will provide executive leadership in the program areas including; supply chain development, innovation, technology transfer, exporting, growth strategies, energy, and marketing. He will report directly to Jim Watson, President and CEO.

Mr. Profozich is a skilled leader with over two decades of experience across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, strategy execution and information technology. He will also lead CMTC’s research program to determine the future service needs of California’s small and mid-sized manufacturers (SMMs). Drawing on his background across fortune 500 companies, start-ups and consulting, he is experienced in pioneering new tools, approaches and services to assist SMMs improve their global competitiveness.

Most recently, Mr Profozich served as Director, Global Consumer Product Operations for Mattel. In this position he was responsible for aligning global processes and implementing technology solutions to support growth strategies. Prior to this, Gregg also served as Mattel’s Lean Leader for North America within the company’s Global Operations Supply Chain Strategy organization.

Prior to Mattel, Mr. Profozich served in a leadership role in enterprise supply chain software, leading product and service development and software implementation engagements for Fortune 500 clients across a broad range of industries. Gregg also has background in management consulting with a focus on quality and productivity improvement through Lean manufacturing.
