LOGAN, Utah--()--Utah-based Cache Valley Electric (CVE) is celebrating its 100-year anniversary on April 1. In 1915, Henry F. Laub founded Cache Valley Electric in the once small town of Logan, Utah. The young company soon provided an electrical wiring system for its first major client at the Utah State University chemistry building. A century later, CVE is a national industry leader with work across America and around the globe.

CEO Jim Laub—grandson of CVE’s founder—remarked, “CVE now tackles everything from cutting-edge hospital data systems to cloud information management to the most sophisticated electrical distribution systems in the world. We’ve proven that you don’t have to be based in a big city to be a big player.”

“CVE’s greatest asset is not just paying attention to detail, but paying attention to people as well. Whether it’s the customer or an employee, we always put the individual first and do what we can to fulfill their needs,” said Chief Operating Officer Nate Wickizer.

This philosophy has led Cache Valley Electric to expand operations beyond electrical construction, incorporating service and specialty projects, technology services, teledata, security and systems integration, transmission lines and substations, and signals and utilities. CVE’s corporate office is located in Logan, Utah, with additional locations in Salt Lake City, Utah; Portland, Oregon; Dallas, Texas and Blytheville, Arkansas.

“The future for Cache Valley Electric is bright,” said Laub. “With a workforce second to none, the ability to adapt to an ever-changing technological and architectural landscape, and a leadership team of executives who truly care about the customer and the employee, there is no doubt CVE will be around for many years to come.”
