DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Connectrac announced today the company’s first major wireway installation in the UK.
Darren Barber, Account Manager of Saville Audio Visual, one of the UK's largest integrator and suppliers of A/V, multimedia and videoconferencing technology, recently toured a facility owned by one of his premier clients. “During the client’s site visit, I was presented with an issue,” Barber recalled. What he was presented with was no small task. In the client’s meeting rooms, there was no cable route and no data from the equipment rack to the client’s conference table. And to top it off, time was of the essence and the project needed to be done on an affordable budget. After listening to his client’s conundrum, Barber offered Connectrac Wireways.
The day’s events brought the A/V installer in for the first-of-many cable management projects that would route power, data and audio/visual cables throughout their building’s conference and presentation rooms. The job led Barber and Saville to bring Connectrac to Europe.
THE CONNECTRAC CABLE MANAGEMENT SOLUTION – NO MORE “BUMP”
The Connectrac In-Carpet Wireway solution fit perfectly with the Saville’s client requirements. With its low-profile and subtle appeal, the wireways put Barber at ease about any potential wipeouts. “There’s no way to trip,” Barber laughed. “It’s the safest. Very discreet, and hardly noticeable.”
With Connectrac, Saville provided cable management wireways for their client’s conference and presentation rooms, paving the way to make features available such as video conferencing, internet access and online or digital presentations. Additionally, it did not involve an onerous and intrusive installation process like core drilling, and it still gave the office a sleek, professional aesthetic unlike jarring and unsightly power poles. “The system is simple and effective,” Barber added. “There are no other words to explain. It looks good and is easy to install.”
“Saville has given Connectrac an opportunity to provide cable management raceway solutions into Europe,” Connectrac CEO Clint Strong recalls. “Retrofitting corporate offices for AV, data and power is a global priority. Saville including us in their projects just adds to our growth as the standard for all cable management needs replacing core drilling.”
