Nautilus Insurance Group Announces Changes to Management

The elite carrier restructures Claims, Operations and Special Projects.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--()--Nautilus Insurance Group, comprised of Nautilus Insurance Company (“Nautilus”) and Great Divide Insurance Company (“Great Divide”), member companies of W. R. Berkley Corporation, has announced two changes to the management team of the organization.

Michael J. Kilgas, who has served as Senior Vice President of Claims, will move to a new role as Senior Vice President of Special Projects and Operations, effective March 16, 2015. In this newly created position, Kilgas will oversee multiple projects within the Company, as well as have involvement with driving operational objectives. Kilgas has been with Nautilus since 1987, and has over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Joining Nautilus, in the role of Senior Vice President of Claims, is Thomas Joyce. An accomplished insurance veteran with 30 years of claims industry experience, Joyce holds an ASLI designation and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University. His expertise in strategic leadership and technical claims skills have made him a recognized leader who is committed to the success of growing organizations.
