MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avila Rodriguez Hernandez Mena & Ferri LLP (ARHMF), a South Florida law firm representing domestic and international businesses and investors across various practice areas, has announced the addition of Liz Lamar as Chief Operations Officer.
As Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Lamar’s primary focus will be to provide strategic leadership for the ARHMF firm. Working with the firm’s partners, Ms. Lamar will provide overall direction, will develop innovative initiatives, and will manage operations to strengthen the firm’s position in the market.
Prior to joining ARHMF, Ms. Lamar was a management consultant specializing in operations management and business process optimization. Before that, Ms. Lamar held various leadership positions where she employed business management strategies to decrease costs, increase efficiencies, and improve profits.

Ms. Lamar is an industry veteran who is a certified Lean Six Sigma Sensei and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
Ms. Lamar graduated from the University of Miami (UM) School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1999. She serves as Practitioner Mentor in LawWithoutWalls™, an educational collaboratory at the UM School of Law that focuses on innovating legal education and practice. She is also a member of the UM Citizens Board and has published numerous articles in industry publications.
