SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CampusQuad, Inc. (www.campusquad.co), creators of a communication platform for mobile student engagement, today announced the company has closed $5 million in Series A financing. The round was led by ICG Ventures Inc., an Ingram Content Group company. CampusQuad will use the funds to invest in product development, scale business operations and continue to drive widespread adoption across North American campuses.
CampusQuad’s pioneering mobile-first SaaS communication and engagement platform provides students with 24/7, real-time access to everything happening on campus from events and club activities to university services. For institutions, CampusQuad provides Student Affairs practitioners with invaluable data to assess student engagement, as well as utilization and effectiveness of programs.

The investment by ICG Ventures will allow us to significantly expand and deepen the engagement experience for fall 2015 and beyond.”
“CampusQuad is addressing an important communication need for universities and colleges – the ability to connect and engage with students in relevant ways, so they can be served better,” said David Roland, Chief Venture Capital Officer, Ingram Content Group Inc. “The CampusQuad platform has proven to be highly impactful in a short period of time, a clear indication that the company is positioned to lead the mobile communication sector in higher education.”
