MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LoCorr Funds announces the hiring of Sean Katof as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager.
Sean Katof will lead the firm’s research development team and be responsible for reviewing current and new sub-advisors for possible addition to the existing family of funds. He will also drive efforts in the development of new products within the alternative marketplace to expand LoCorr’s offerings. Prior to joining LoCorr Funds, Sean served as Director of Capital Markets at SLOCUM, an institutional consulting firm, from 2005 to 2015. In this role, he led the firm’s global equity manager research covering traditional equity, short extension, closed-end fund, and options overlay strategies. In addition he was actively involved in equity long-short manager research. In his 20-year investment career, Sean has also held positions with Devenir Investment Advisors and INVESCO Funds Group. Sean is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
